Sella di Filiporto
Part of the Pantalica Necropolis, this area consists of around a thousand tombs dating back to the final phase of settlement (9th-8th century BC). Here, we find the last traces of habitation at the site during the Byzantine period, with at least three groups of rock-cut villages. The largest of these features about 150 dwellings surrounding the rock-cut church of San Micidiario.
