Akrai Theatre
The theatre is located in the municipality of Palazzolo Acreide (ancient Akrai) and is dated between the 3rd - 2nd century BC. Unlike the theatre in Syracuse, it was not excavated in the rock by removal but built on a pre-existing natural slope.
